This is a bulletproof, perfectly-cut jacket which combines the beautiful 16.5 oz denim with a nice n cozy blanket lining. For sizing reference, I'm 6'3" and went with a large, tho an XL would have also been great, especially if you're looking to wear it more as a proper winter jacket. It'll last forever — I look forward to updating my review from some distant moon base years from now, still wearing this jacket.
The best Denim jacket I’ve owned. I took a couple of months to review it to see how it wore after spending a few weeks in Portugal in the winter. I love this jacket. It doesn’t seem like it would be warm, but it’s actually perfect for about 55° and up. Any colder you have to layer. I normally wear a medium, but the sleeves were a little bit short on the medium so I sized up. Large is a little big in the body for me so I stuck it in hot water in the bathtub and shrunk it. It’s just OK now. The stitching is a little off around the pockets. For these two reasons, I’m taking off a star. I’m 5’11 150 for reference. Just buy one, you won’t be disappointed.
This is my second tellason (first is a 14.5 oz coverall). I’m 5’8, 158lbs and ended up with a perfect fit in the small, the medium was initially too boxy but in the south I don’t have to layer much. Tony and Pete went above and beyond to make sure I ended up in the right fit and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re on the fence about having the blanket lined version when you already have an unlined get off the fence and grab one. Let the break-in begin.
I recently bought a large size 16.5 lined selvedge denim jacket, after losing my old one which was a medium size. The medium fit but was a little snug, so I sized up. The large fits very well - I'm 5'9, about 155 pounds, and the quality is excellent. I like my jackets a little loose. I expect the jacket to outlast me.
Really well put together denim jacket. The is great! Not bulky at all which is what I was afraid of buying it. It 5’10 and 150lbs and got a size medium. Fit is good. Thanks Tellason for another great product!

I already own the Japanese black denim and blue denim, so I knew this one would be spectacular. And it exceeded my expectations. These guys just get it. From fit to finish, a perfect product. I wanted it a little more fitted, so I went M instead of L (5'9" 140 lbs). Can layer with tshirt or hoodie. Heavy but not overweight. Substantial. The wool mix fabric is nice for the blanket lining. Even nicer than the photos illustrate. Great job again, guys!
I already knew that I loved the 16.5 selvedge from wearing Tellason jeans for the past 14 years. The construction is excellent of course. Seems like it will be very warm. I'm 5'9 175lbs, 42 chest and I ordered the XL. Out of the box, it was definitely a big on me. I gave it a hot soak for 45 mins and let it air dry. It now fits great in the shoulders and I have room for some layering if I want to put a sweater underneath. The Large probably would have worked, but may have been a little snug. Just some sizing anecdotes in case anyone is wondering what size to get. Can't wait to wear this in the Fall!
I just got this jacket and it’s a must have. The construction the fit and the feel are worth the very reasonable price for what you are getting. Can’t wait for it to get colder so that I can start wearing it. This is my first piece from Tellason and it won’t be my last.
